Innovative e-commerce platform based on AI & VR

LUNA is an e-commerce platform built on the SaaS (Software as a Service) model, based on artificial intelligence and virtual reality. Specifically, it is based on the machine learning (deep learning) model, the closest to how the human brain works.

Thus, LUNA will provide its customers with an e-commerce platform based on artificial intelligence algorithms, with many globally innovative functionalities. On the LUNA platform, customers will create their online stores where users (people who will browse through online stores) will be able to place orders.

The LUNA platform consists of 3 major components:

1. the e-commerce platform, where subscriptions will be sold to online stores and from where access to the platform will be administered; the platform will have both a graphical interface and an administration panel.

2. the final platform of online stores, which will be accessed by users and from which various products and services can be ordered; the platform will have both a graphical interface and an administration panel.

3. the marketplace platform, which will have its specific settings, and in which the products of all traders who take advantage of this option will be displayed together; the platform will have both a graphical interface and an administration panel.

The functionalities of the final platform of online stores and the marketplace will also be accessible through dedicated Android and iOS applications.

The graphic interfaces of the final platform of online stores and the marketplace will have virtual or 3D reality components.

Challenges encountered

1. Creating a scalable and efficient system that is not affected by the increase in the number of users, regardless of geographical area.

2. Developing  a robust, distributed trading system with the possibility to resume operations following exceptional situations.

3. Collecting a large amount of data in real time, without affecting system performance.
